Stories from the world after the world.

The Children of Ash is an improvisational storytelling podcast based in the fictional world of Audhumla, where humanity barely maintains a foothold against a strange and encroaching wilderness. We utilize a mixture of tabletop RPGs and other tools to facilitate tales less inspired by the high fantasy of Tolkien than folktale, world myth, and the works of Patricia Mckillip, Walter Miller Jr, and Akira Kurosawa.

Welcome to our family…

Our tales feature a shifting cast. Each story, guests come and go, the characters change, and the players around the table sometimes change with them. It takes a village to weave our web, so let us introduce you to that village.
